For Reviewers:-

What do I need to do before I get started on Truevoo?

Firstly, BEFORE you sign up to Truevoo, make sure you have an itunes nickname. Do this by going to itunes/store/view my account/Edit Nickname. Next thing BEFORE you sign up to Truevoo, make sure you have a secure paypal account (go to www.paypal.com) - you'll need the email address fo this account.

Now go to the Truevoo reviewer sign up page, use your itunes nickname and paypal email address (this is to make sure you get paid for the App).

As soon as you receive your email confirmation from us, you are good to go and select an App.

How do I get a free app?

Simply sign on and select an App in Truevoo, make sure it is of interest to you as you need to test and review it honestly. You need to pay for the App up front, this is to stop spammers.

Once you have tested or played with App, long enough to make an informed review of it, go to itunes (or click on the app in your account on Truevoo) and review the App - the review must be in itunes - there is nowhere to make a review on Truevoo. Itunes can take upto 24 hours to publish a review in their stores, the second that review goes *live* you will be instantly paid the value of that app back to your paypal account.

PLEASE NOTE - DUE TO A NUMBER OF SPAMMERS EACH REVIEW WILL BE HUMANLY CHECKED PRIOR TO US PAYING THE REFUND. WE CHECK FOR DUPLICATE REVIEWS.

Can I have more than one App under review?

Yes, review the whole lot should you wish, just remember that our software will not credit you back the cost of the app until it finds the review for the app.

How long do I have to test it?

72 hours, you will receive two reminders during this period. If you fail to write a review within this period, the app will go back into the store and you'll lose your money. We have to do this as some people have been holding on to app's for weeks and stopping others from grabbing the free app's. If you feel you were not given enough time or need more time, use our contact form.

I submitted the wrong nickname..

Use the contact form and tell us your current username - we'll investigate and change if ok.

Does Truevoo work if I have an iPod or iPad?

As long as you are able to purchase/use apps from the itunes app store, you can use Truevoo on any model.

I am a spammer, can I write spammy reviews and simply get loads of free apps?

No, we will report any spammer to itunes, ban your IP address from our system and nickname along with your paypal account. It's not really worth it is it?

How much does it cost per review?

The site is in Beta testing, the site works but are are always improving the way it performs, during Beta mode, the reviews are free for the first ten of each app - you can order as many as you like. Please note the cost of your application will be added to the final payment. For example, if your App costs $0.99 and you order 10 reviews, the total cost would be $9.99.

How long do the reviews take?

The reviews will be published within 72 hours of a reviewer purchasing it from the itunes App store. We do not guarantee timescales of getting reviews purchased live - if your app is of interest, it will be snapped up almost instantly.

We have lots of App's, do we have to add each one individually?

At the moment, yes, however, we are working on this and will update the procedure shortly.

Can we specify only good reviews?

Absolutely not. We tell all reviewers to fully test the application and base their review on honest and true findings. This makes the reviews on itunes helpful to other App users rather than spammy. We do not insist on the reviewer reviewing, it is in their interest as we only credit back if the review is published - it also means we are a free affiliate for you if they do not review.

How can we check the reviews from the reviewers associated with you?

You have access to an account page and can see all published reviews as and when they are live in the itunes store.

How do I find my App's URL?

Simply visit itunes App store and right click on your App's icon, then copy/paste URL.

We are a company based in (example) Spain, we can only see the positioning and reviews in Spain? Can we see the reviews on our App's from other countries?

Within your Truevoo account page, you can see all reviews posted to all itunes stores across the globe.

What is the origin of the reviewers?

They are in the main made up from early adopters online, social networking enthusiasts and bloggers from around the world.

When do we have to pay $ 2.99 for review?

After your first ten apps have been reviewed, that app will no longer qualify for free reviews, simply order more at just $2.99 per review.
